CATALYST CLUB


Catalyst Club is focused to help and encourage undergraduate students to gain more awareness, knowledge, and confidence to write research papers, book chapters, product development, and create patents. Another aim is to conduct workshops and events, where students can share their research works with all other students.

Objectives:

1.    To provide enough drive towards research bent of thinking among students 
2.    To create a forum of young researchers , who train and assist students in writing research papers, publish articles, and handbooks
3.    To Engage students in the world of research and through various technology transformation from ideation related activities 

Activities :

Catalyst  club conducted  an innovation based discussion -INNOVATE 360 on 13.02.2024. Students participated and deliberated on various innovative theme based ideas , which is a guided process by the club office bearers and faculty coordinators.

Catalyst club of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology has conducted a workshop on "Research Paper Writing". Registered student participants were given information related to the template of paper writing. Students were made to write parts of a typical technical paper and the feedback was discussed about the drafted papers.

Catalyst club of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology has conducted an orientation session on 10.03.2023 at AI Super Computing Laboratory, Centre for Advanced Studies. The student participants are made aware of the importance of the catalyst club, objectives and mode of activities. A case study of Artificial Intelligence has been taken to discuss the modalities of the club functioning.

Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology has inducted "Catalyst" club on 13th February,2023 into its fold. On the eve of this inception, an orientation session on the significance of student publications, innovative projects and possible ways to improve research driven thought process among students was discussed. Many enthusiastic learners participated in this interactive session.
