Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology embedded the Sustainability as one of the Core Values of the institute which makes each individual in the institute and all the stakeholders involved with the institute to think about sustainability in each of their activities and contribute towards UN SDGs.
Sathyabama includes sustainability as the inclusive practice in its Core Values, Programmes- academic activities, students cocurricular and extracurricular activities, Faculty initiatives, research and development, infrastructure development, budget allotment and the governance activities etc.
Sathyabama contributes to all the 17 UN SDGs by means of education, research, educating the local community, helping the local community to eradicate the poverty, contributing to the policy development of local bodies, national and global policies
