Dr.S.Ganesan, Professor & Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, joined Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology as Asst. Professor in June 2009.He completed BE from Government college of technology, Coimbatore and ME from Alagappa chettiar Government college of Engineering and Technology,karaikudi. He worked as a Senior CAE Analyst in Mahendra & Mahendra. He continued the research in the field of alternative fuels. He holds teaching and research experience for 21 years. He has published 170 papers in various reputed National and international journals.

- Currently guiding 6 Research Scholars under the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Sathyabama Institute of Science & Technology, Chennai, India.
