Dr. M. S. Sangeetha is the Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. She obtained her Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) Degree from Sathyabama Engineering College, affiliated with Madras University, in 2001, and her Master of Engineering (M.E.) degree from Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology in 2004. She was awarded her Ph.D. in 2018 from Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, specializing in Infrared Thermography for Condition Monitoring. Her research interests include Infrared Thermography, condition monitoring, power electronics, and green energy. She has 12 years of teaching experience. She is actively involved in academic and research activities, contributing to advancements in these fields.

  • She has authored 21 research publications indexed in Web of Science and Scopus, as well as in international and national conferences. Her work has received 31 citations, and she has an h-index of 4 in Scopus.

  • Her work, including health monitoring of archaeological structures and condition monitoring of electrical equipment, has been published in various book chapters.

  • Serves as the Coordinator for national accreditation processes, including NBA and NAAC

  • Organized various international and national-level Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), guest lectures, and seminars.

  • Successfully completed multiple NPTEL courses in areas such as the Internet of Things, image processing, and sensor networks.

  • Serves as a reviewer for refereed national and international journals and conferences.
