The Rotaract Club has organized a Blood Donation Camp (Drop of Life) in our Dental College on 7th February 2018. More than 700 students donated blood during the camp.
The Rotaract Club organized RYLA-E (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards-Explore) on 30 and 31st January 2018. Various Sessions for improving leadership qualities and finding leaders were conducted on both the days.
On 25th January, 2018, the Rotaract Club of SDC visited Panchayat Union Middle School in Thenmelpakkam and conducted a Self-Defense programme for the girl children.

A Guest Lecture on “Cyber Security” was given by Mr.Sriram and another lecture on "Entrepreneurship” by Mr.Philip Joshua to the club members on 28th August 2017
On 13th August 2017, as part of the PAYANAM project, Rotaract club students of Student Development Cell took 150 school children from our Government Schools to Vandalur Zoo
On 15th Feb, 2017, the Rotaract club organised a Blood donation Camp "A Drop of life V 3.0". Successfully 600 units of blood were collected and given to VHS and Lions Blood Bank.
Rotaract Club organized an Orientation Programme for the club students on 20th September 2016. Rtr.Lenin Mani addressed the enthusiastic students with his pragmatic talk on the topic of "Time Management and Leadership"
The installation ceremony of the Rotaract club of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology took place with usual pomp and élan, on 22nd July, 2015 within the university campus. Helming the mast of the year 2015 is Rtr.Nandhini B. and her team who took heartfelt oath to work for the society and the club

We joined hands with Hindu Mission hospital, Cancer Institute and Lions blood bank. 340 units of blood was collected through this drive
On Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s birthday, we visited the Hastinapuram Govt. school and provided a Projector with the fund raised by Rotaract club of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology
On15th Oct, 2015 Hand Wash Day – we visited Hastinapuram Govt. Primary school and created awareness on the importance of hand wash
Be a giver” this is a Project initiative for the kids affected by HIV +ve kids. Pope John’s Garden which is located in Madhavaram, houses nearly 70 HIV affected kids
“Nakshatra” is an inter Rotaract cultural organized by Rotaract club of Ambattur, sponsored by rotary club of Ambattur. We are proud to inform that we did a massive event for the 12th consecutive year (6th March 2016)
Rotaract club of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology joined hands with Rotaract club of Zenith and did a service under “Enaindha Kaigal” to motivate, entertain and enlighten the students from various government schools and various orphanages
